During recent decades there has been increasing recognition that the relative and absolute amounts of ordinary nutrients in the diet can have important effects on growth, health, wellbeing and aging.

The name shakes is used to make distinction between the milk based shakes and the others based on fruit, vegetables and use of supplements. Examples are Fruit shakes, smoothies, vegetable juice, dessert, seaweed shakes, aloe Vera, Jelly etc.

Fruit based shakes/smoothies are the more popular now but shakes or drinks based in vegetables have been in use much longer and the first recorded use goes back to Sumer (Eden and more than 7000 years). When you have a closer look in the bible you will find that the old biblical people did grow old in good health a which might be up to 600 years. However over time the average age did start to decrease and is hovering around 70-80 years average. There have been many attempts made to increase the average lifespan in our history and rejuvenation played an important role.

For the rulers and elite there was a vegetable diet consisting of grounded vegetables and severe food restrictions. Because of the severity the participant where sedated and left in a dark place with little or no noise and light. Chronic disease, toxins, health and ageing.

In addition to cumulative exposure of toxins, an even more important issue is interactive exposure of multiple toxins within the human body. In many cases, one poison may be only mildly toxic but when it exists in the body in combination with a second or third (or dozens) of other mildly toxic poisons, the effects become multiplied hundreds or even thousands of times.

The LD-1 of lead (the dose which would kill one rat out of a hundred) was mixed with the LD-1 of mercury, and these two combined to give a tiny lead and mercury dose which instead of killing just two rats out of 100, it killed the entire 100! This is why safety studies are carried out on cleaning products, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other chemicals are almost totally useless and not so without reason.

By testing only single chemicals and never multiple exposures in the way we are exposed to them in real life. Most of these substances should have never been allowed on the market and into our living environment otherwise. The authorities able to say I did not know, was not aware, you are safe, science has proven.

The microenvironment includes complex scaffolding on which our cells grow and develop, is called the extracellular matrix. This microenvironment is what actually surrounds a cell. As these progresses increase and the toxic load increases, toxins do start to accumulate, other toxin present start to interfere, cellular reactions will start to malfunction. The ones that malfunction first will vary depending on the cell type and genetic makeup of that individual. Thus, the resulting degenerative "disease" will be expressed differently, but the root cause will be the same. The necessary, incredible complexity of the biochemistry of every cell, required for the continuation of health and life itself, reinforces that realization that we depend totally on our natural qualities.

A chronic condition is a human health condition or disease that is persistent or otherwise long lasting in its effects. The term chronic is usually applied when the course of the disease lasts for more than three months. Toxins and polluted food, water other products used in cleaning, air can all affect and induce changes, it is the genetically controlled chemistry to keep us operational on a day-to-day basis.

Forgotten is that with few exceptions, we are totally at the mercy of this system operating correctly, on its own despite many claims otherwise. We can only influence it constructively in only a very few ways.

Most powerfully, we can provide the basic building blocks (nutrients) that enable it to perform as designed. Dietary supplements operate by enhancing existing biochemical processes. Each vegetable or fruit, meat, herbs has its own distribution of enzymes, some of which when our bodies can incorporate sufficiently intact to help us supply some essential enzymes using external sources. It is unlikely that one vegetable will have a distribution of enzymes externally that will supply all of our bodily needs externally. However, a wide diversity of vegetables might. At least, the possibilities improve with the diversity of supply. This would include herbs, honey and seaweeds. The problem, of course, is to try to identify what enzymes are missing for a particular disease state, and which vegetable or herb can provide it. This information is not available, most likely because the problem has not been clearly presented before. Since this information is not available, the safest approach is to resort to a "shotgun" approach using all vegetables in the hope that one or more will provide what is needed.

Individual ones will enhance only one part of the metabolic chain, shifting the "choke point" to the next slowest part. Currently we do not know what that best complex of antioxidants is to use for certain types of illness but our present state of knowledge is in creasing rapidly and just rearranging the information available now could get us a far way. To be safe in this era of inadequate knowledge, any individual taking antioxidant supplements should take the broadest combination available.

Liquids and Diet design depends upon specific needs and take into account aging. Baby or youngster need a different diet and nutrients when compared with an ageing or older person.

For example, optimum diets for longevity, intellectual performance, and reproductive performance, or athletic performance are probably different and also age dependent.

There is also growing awareness that dietary source and form of food may affect overall health. We can currently assume individual antioxidants enhance different parts of the very extensive and complex metabolic process, and there is no single one that enhances every aspect. Therefore, to be complete, we need a matched set of antioxidants that covers the entire range of metabolic processes. When we have a closer look at vitamin C and cancer vitamin C will help us to protect against cancer, however when you do have cancer relative low concentration of Vitamin C will stimulate the growth instead of preventing the growth or speed of cancer, if you introduce vitamin C however in higher doses straight into your blood instead of thought the stomach it will again protect. By digesting high doses it will not help because most of it will be broken down in the digestive system.

If the energy available to a cell diminishes, for any reason, it is reasonable to assume that the highly ordered cellular chemistry will gradually become less well ordered and controlled.
